What are the check-in and check-out times at the ARCOTEL HafenCity Dresden?
Your room will be available from 3.00 p.m. on the day of arrival. We ask that you check-out by 12.00 p.m.
Can I change or cancel my reservation at any time?
Please look for the exact cancellation details which apply to your booked rate. We offer a link on your confirmation e-mail from which you can make the cancellation.Our reservation team will also be very happy to help.
Is the hotel suitable for non-smokers? Do you have smoking rooms? Where can I smoke?
The ARCOTEL HafenCity is a non-smoking hotel. It is thus prohibited to smoke either in the common areas or the guest rooms.
Do your meeting rooms have natural light? Do you cater for weddings?
Yes, our five meeting rooms have natural light. You can find more information about our seminar and events area here.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi is available throughout the whole hotel.In addition, we offer complimentary digital newspapers and magazines from 58 countries in 38 languages during your stay. Once connected to the hotel Wi-Fi, you can browse our digital reading selection free of charge.
What can I do if I don’t have a credit card and want to guarantee my reservation?
Even without a credit card, there are several ways to guarantee your reservation.
For individual bookings, we’ll be happy to send you a payment or authorization link via email upon request. Please simply send us a written request by email. You can also use the payment link to pay by bank transfer.
A guarantee without a credit card is also possible if a valid corporate rate agreement exists with the respective hotel.
Corporate customers without such an agreement have the option of conveniently sending us a written guarantee statement by email. You will then receive a payment or authorization link via email. Using the payment link, you can also pay by bank transfer.
Please note that bookings of 10 or more rooms are considered group reservations. Special conditions apply, which we would be happy to coordinate with you individually by email.
We accept all major credit cards, including VISA, Mastercard, Diners Club, and American Express.
Can I change money? Which credit cards do you accept?
We do not offer a foreign currency exchange service. We accept AMEX, VISA, MASTER, DINERS and JCB. The nearest facility for changing money is around 400 metres from the hotel, at the the train station "Neustadt".
Does the hotel offer parking facilities?
The hotel has its own underground car park at a daily rate of EUR 22.00 and outdoor parking spaces at a daily rate of EUR 18.00. In addition, 2 e-charging stations are available. Unfortunately, these two e-charging stations are currently out of service – we kindly ask for your understanding. Guests of the restaurant and bar park free of charge. Parking spaces cannot be reserved in advance.

Is there a laundry service?
We can wash your laundry using one of our partners in line with your requirements. The price list for this can be found in your wardrobe, and it is also available form reception.
Can I bring my dog to the hotel? How much does this cost?
You are welcome to bring your dog – for an additional fee of EUR 18.00 plus 6% lodging tax per day.
Do you have allergy-friendly rooms / disability-friendly rooms?
All of our rooms are suitable for allergy sufferers, and we also have disability-friendly rooms.
What dishes does the restaurant offer? Do you also have a kids’/senior citizens’ menu? Do you host themed evenings such as Candlelight Dinner / New Year Gala / Valentine’s Day / St Martin’s Day?
Our restaurant concept is very Mediterranean. For special occasions, however, we will be happy to work out a suitable menu for you.
As a hotel guest, can I invite a non-guest for breakfast, or as a non-guest, can I have breakfast at the hotel?
Even if you're not staying at the hotel, you're welcome to join us for breakfast – hotel guests may also invite external guests to our HafenCity breakfast buffet at a rate of EUR 22.00 per person. Please register in advance.
Do you offer special dishes for lactose and gluten intolerance, or for wheat allergies? Can you provide Kosher food or vegetarian dishes?
We are happy to organise this, by arrangement with our Head Chef.
